Summer Staff

This volunteer experience is for those who are at least one year out of high school (college age or older). The summer staff roles require considerable maturity and non-verbal witness. Each summer staff session is about one month long. Please apply as soon after December 1st as possible. Qualified applicants will be accepted into positions based on the order applications are received. If you have any questions, contact us.

Please first check availability​ of openings. Then apply online. You will need the email address of a Young Life staff person who is willing to write a recommendation on your behalf.

Jobs:

​Bakers, Cooks, Boat Drivers, Life Guards, Program Tech, and Retail (Coffee House, Snack Bar, Store), and Ropes!

*Clearwater Cove is located on Table Rock Lake in Southwest Missouri. In order to be a boat driver​ you need to pass the Missouri State Boaters Safety​ test as well as a Red Cross lifeguarding class. All lifeguards​ must pass a Red Cross lifeguarding class.

Work Crew

This volunteer experience is for those in high school. To be eligible you must have completed one year of high school and complete your local area's work crew training course. Each work crew session is about one month long during the summer.

Session 1: May 24 - June 20

Session 2: June 20 - July 12

Session 3:​ July 12 - August 7

Jobs:

Pits (dishwashers), Tawashies (laundry and housekeeping) , Servers (dining hall) and Outdoor Crew (landscaping)

YoungLives

YoungLives​ Childcare — a mission trip like none other

Every summer hundreds of teen moms head to Young Life camp to hear the gospel in a relatable and impactful way.

To make it all possible, individuals and groups from around the country spend a week caring for the children of the teen moms.

Work Week

Work Week - May 15 - 19, 2023

Each spring, thousands of college and career-age volunteers go to a Young Life camp for their annual Work Week to get camp ready for thousands of high school and middle school kids who will be here in the summer. Jobs range from painting and raking to construction and sewing, and everything in between! No part of camp is left untouched. If you have don't have applicable skills, the Clearwater Cove Camp staff is here to teach you.
